Coleford Town Council, in partnership with Forest of Dean Quakers, is bringing a free screening of The People's Emergency Briefing to Coleford Baptist Church.

The film brings together leading UK experts across climate science, food security, health, the economy, national security and nature, offering a clear, evidence-based look at how the climate and nature crisis is already affecting everyday life in Britain, and what may lie ahead. It is non-partisan, and backed by organisations including the National Trust, the Church of England, WWF and the Royal Meteorological Society. The screening forms part of the wider National Emergency Briefing initiative, a UK-wide campaign of local community screenings and discussions.

The evening will include the screening itself, followed by a short break and time for open discussion, hosted by Peter Bennett of FoD People's Emergency Briefings.
