But staging the events and looking after the organisation does take time. ]]> http://www.colefordtowncouncil.gov.uk/volunteers-needed/feed/ 0 Grants Galore http://www.colefordtowncouncil.gov.uk/grants-galore/ http://www.colefordtowncouncil.gov.uk/grants-galore/#comments Fri, 16 Mar 2012 11:08:53 +0000 Annie http://www.colefordtowncouncil.gov.uk/?p=1618 This year Coleford Town Council has helped 12 local groups with grants amounting to more than £20,000.00. The Council helped St Johns School fund its new kitchen facility, FoD Allotment Society to buy a shed, the CAB to run outreach sessions in the town, Young Carers to provide a youth sessions and of course the Christmas Lights Switch On and the Carnival of Transport. More funds have been allocated for next year so if you have a community group that needs a helping hand please apply to CTC for a grant.

A Public Forum is held at the beginning of the meeting for members of the public to voice their concerns and speak about matters arising. We wish to reiterate that should you find anything within Coleford Parish that you feel needs to be bought to attention then you are more then welcome to come.

During each month we will be holding Committee meetings as well, these are also open to the public and the Agendas are posted in advance on our window. If you wish to see the dates for each meetings, please consult our calendar on this website.
