Representing Coleford East
Background Information:
I have lived in Coleford for 24 years with my husband and two children, both who have attended St Johns C of E Primary School and Lakers. My daughter is now on the move to the College, wanting to attend locally to gain from the community ethos.
Both my husband and I work in Coleford. I enjoy walking and watching our son playing any sport and going on family holidays.
Represents Council:
Represents the Council on Amenities and Finance/Office Committees. Janine also represents the Council on the Halls Charity and the Bells Foundation.
Achievements aimed for Town:
I would like to work together with the Town Councillors and the other Town and Parish Councils in the Forest to achieve the best for Coleford and the Forest, to make the area a place that everyone can be proud to feel they are part of. I would especially like to involve the youth of Coleford perhaps by creating a Youth Council to see what they need within the Town and to bring their views back to the Town Council. I would also like to see an increase in recycling, thereby cutting our carbon footprint.
