Cllr Clive Elsmore
I was born in Cardiff to Forest parents Cyril and Lorna Elsmore, my family returned to Coleford in 1948. Apart from a short absence for apprenticeship in Birmingham, I have lived and worked in the community since then, becoming a Councillor in 1986.
Represents Council:
Represents Council on Burial, Finance/Office, Highways, Planning and Public Safety Committees. Clive is also a representative for the Town Council for the Halls Charity, Forest of Dean Citizens Advice Bureau, Bells Foundation, Forest Health Forum, Gloucestershire Market Towns Forum and Gloucestershire Rural Transport Partnership.
Achievements aimed for Town:
Regeneration has been the watchword of the Council policy in recent years, continuing regeneration must be employed in the Coleford Community Centre Project, Clock Tower Project, King George V Pavilion and Playing Fields, Public Transport and effective provision for the interests of the young people of Coleford.
